First Mini Munny Attempt!

Being that I work @ the urban vinyl toy store Red Hot Robot- it was bound to happen that I would eventually get the hunger to make my own custom vinyl.

I picked up a light blue mini Munny about a month ago - and have since been too scared to decorate it!!


To ease my scared-y cat-ness I downloaded a Munny template and started brainstorming ideas. Here's the TEMPLATE if you need it!

Today, I thought while I was @ work I be finally brave enough to start (and would document the occasion taking pics with my cell phone, sorry if they are a little fuzzy!)- I started with sketching on the blank Munny:


Then did a first coat with a paint pen:


It's the first time I've ever used a paint pen...they are pretty neat - a little rough - but neat! Currently, I am on my second coat...I think I may leave it there for a few hours to give it a chance to fully dry:


Eeee! This is too much fun...I think I may be addicted....*gasp*

I of course got antsy while it was mostly dry and started filling in some of the darker areas:

Oh, WOW!!!! Jessie, I love him!!! He's amazing, and looks totally like a Samaria Project critter. ;D He's awesome. Looks like the paint pens work pretty good too! I can't wait to see more!!!! :)
