I've been tagged! Goodness Claire this thing is huge!

What is the thing that makes you happy?
Honestly? nice people :)

Coffee or tea?
Both - but more tea than coffee...coffee is for special occasions.

What’s for dinner?
Turkey tenderloins, baked sweet potatoes, and broccoli

What was the last thing you bought?
Milk and other assorted necessities.

What are you listening to right now?
A playlist of awesomeness that I made for listening to @ Red Hot Robot while I am working...currently The Maine is playing :)

What is your favourite piece of clothing in your own wardrobe?
Right now it is a striped purple/black/grey Billabong hoodie and the pair of muk luks that have guitars on them that I got last time I went to Montana! :)

What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
Natural Vanilla. Mmmmm Mmmm

What do you think of the person(s) who tagged you?
I think she is fabulous! And her pugs are so adorable. I loved watching the video on her blog and hearing her pug snort in the background - awesome, just awesome!

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
New Zealand - Vin and I have REALLY been wanting to go and check it out!

Which language do you want to learn?
French would be neat :)

What is your favourite colour?
Turquoise

If you had £100 now, what would you spend it on?
I would get a new pair of sneakers and a few new tops...and probably something cute and kawaii!

(I'm changing this one to: What is your favorite animal?)
Puppies...but I think I pretty much love anything that cuddles and doesn't bite!

Describe your personal style?
A mix between college chic and skater...not sure I how I landed here...but yet here I am!

ugh, if I get 5-6 I am happy. I am confused on weather I am a night owl or an early bird.

How many times do you press the snooze button before you get up?
Until there are no more snoozes and vin yells at me to get up!

Getting stuck in patterns for too many years...and being to scared to really go for things.

Getting myself healthy. I hit a health low point about 2 years ago - and I thought I was healthy then!!! Since then I really amped up working on keeping myself healthy and happy - and in that I went back to being creative and doing things that make me happy instead of cranky.

Cats or dogs?
Dogs-but kittens are also awesome

Not having enough moolah to look super cute everyday. I used to have the cutest hair that changed color every month...I need to go back to that!

Question I am adding:
What's your secret?
I love cooking!!! I never thought I would...but I so do....

Here are the folks I am tagging:

Samaria Project - the secret "foodie"

I have been REALLY getting into cooking lately. I generally spend any extra time I have looking up recipes and tweeking them to my liking (and also to my food allergies).

Here are two recipes that have become my favorites:
Easy tasty dinner-

Jess's Bean Soup w/ vegan irish soda bread
Ingredients for soup (yet another version)

* 1.5 cups chopped celery
* 3/4 cup torn collard greens
* enough water to cover it all
* sprinkle of italian seasoning
* 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
* 1 can cannelli beans, drained and rinsed
* 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
* 1/4 cup alphabet mini pasta

Essentially, I threw everything into a pot (except for the pasta)- brought it to a boil and then let it simmer for 35 minutes. I threw in the alphabet pasta and let it simmer for 11 more minutes. Super easy - I like my soup sorta bland - so you can add in onions, spices, etc. I was just using up leftovers! This was a variation of about 5 different soup recipes! Thank goodness it turned out ok!

Vegan Irish Soda Bread
Vegan Irish Soda Bread

1 cups white whole wheat flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup plain yogurt

Preheat oven to 400 F. Mix the dry ingredients together. Add the yogurt and mix it in well. (Add more flour if the dough is sticky, more yogurt if it's too dry.) Shape into a ball and put on cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.

This recipe came from the lovely Fat Free Vegan website
